We are a new caravan company founded by Dave Benson, wife Tania and sons Josh, Daniel and Tom.

From Dave Benson Caravans to Explorer Caravans
Dave Benson has over 40 years experience in the caravan industry, having founded and run Dave Benson Caravans.
Dave has worked for a major Australian manufacturer Concept Caravans, who manufacture Concept Caravans, Newlands Caravans and Franklin Caravans, along with their sister brand Viscount Caravans.
Josh, Daniel and Tom have been around the caravan market since they were kids. As a result they have a great deal of first hand experience in both camper trailer and caravan holidays.
Dave first started in the industry running Viscount Adelaide in the early 80's . Together with his wife Tania they have successfully run together retail outlets combined for over 70 years!
Dave has sold nearly every brand of caravan on the market. Including Jayco, Coromal, Lotus, Leader, Supreme, Jurgens. Dave has also sold camper trailers such as Cub Campers, Track Trailers and many other brands. In other words, when you come to Explorer Caravan Sales, you’ll be speaking to a team who know the market, the products and the lifestyle.
